The Gospel in One Verse

The truth that will change your life forever: God loves you.
This love is not based on your performance, your background, or your goodness.

In the Bible, specifically in the Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 16, it says:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Why did God give His Son?
Because sin has separated us from God.
Due to sin, we are cut off from God, His love, and purpose we were created for. Our hearts became hard, selfish, and blind to God.

But God did not abandon us.
In His great mercy and love, God made a way to be reconciled to Himself and the way is through Jesus Christ.
Jesus, the Son of God, came into the world, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. On the third day, He rose again, defeating sin and death once and for all.

Now the invitation is clear:
“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31)

This is not religion — it is relationship.
When you put your faith in Jesus and ask Him to forgive you:

  • God forgives your sins.
  • He gives you a new heart.
  • He removes your heart of stone and gives you a heart of flesh.
  • He puts His Holy Spirit within you.
  • He restores your relationship with Him.

The Gospel in Four Points:

  1. God loves you.
  2. Sin has separated you from God.
  3. Jesus alone can forgive you and reconcile you to God.
  4. You have a decision to make: Do you want to be forgiven and become a child of God?

As the Bible says:
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit within you and move you to follow My decrees.”
— Ezekiel 36:26–27

This is The Gospel — one simple verse, one simple message, one eternal truth:
God loves you and has made a way back to Himself through Jesus.
He desires that you respond to Him, His invitation to you to be reconciled with Him through the way He has provided.

Will you respond today?
