Dear Friend, Welcome!

I’m so glad you are here. You will be truly blessed because God loves you deeply. He knows you by name, and you are very important to Him.

You are saved—that means your sins are forgiven, and you are reconciled to God. This happened when you called out to Jesus for salvation, repented, and believed that He is God’s Son who gave His life for you. God wants you to know what it means to be His child. That’s why He gave Jesus—who did everything necessary so that God could have you back as His own. He loves you!

“You need to know that God is your loving Father—you are now part of His family and His Kingdom, and He holds nothing against you!”

God’s invitation is for everyone—Jew and Gentile, from every nation, tribe, and tongue, including you, no matter your background.

I have written this to help you grow in your relationship with God—your loving Father, with Jesus, and with the wonderful Holy Spirit. You are now part of God’s family. You belong!

— Nico Saaiman

Salvation is the beginning of a brand-new life in Jesus. You are now forgiven, born of God, given a new heart, and made a partaker of His divine nature. Your life change direction and you are empowered by the Holy Spirit to live in His will and walk in His victory.

Before knowing Jesus, we were spiritually dead because of our sins and followed our own sinful desires. But God, because of His great love and mercy, made us alive in Christ even when we were still sinners. Jesus died for us to save us and bring us into a new life. Now, instead of following our own ways, we live by the power of the Holy Spirit, united with God and each other as one family.

This study is designed to help you understand what it truly means to be saved—born again—and how to walk in obedience to God as you grow in your new identity and life in Christ.

“You will grow deeper in your walk with God through discipleship at a loving, Bible-believing church—”It is crucial to be part of a Bible-based church that stands firmly on God’s Word without compromise. As a believer, you are now part of God’s family—loved, accepted, and called to grow together with others in His truth.”

What happened:
God loved you so much that even when you were lost in sin, He sent Jesus to die for you and make you alive again.

Who you were:
You nature was sinful and therefore were separated from God, spiritually dead, following your own sinful desires, and under God’s judgment.

Who you are now:
Because of Jesus, you are alive spiritually, forgiven, and now guided by the Holy Spirit. You belong to God’s family and have God’s power to live for Him—a new life full of purpose.

1. Your New Life in Christ

A Bible Foundational Guide
A short foundational explanation

2. You Are Reconciled With God

You were separated from God, but Jesus brought you back into relationship with Him. You now have peace with God.

“God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” (2 Corinthians 5:19)

“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:1)

3. Your New Heart

Your heart has been changed, and God now gives you both the desire and the power to live in obedience.
As God promised:

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” (Ezekiel 36:26)

And as the New Testament confirms:

“For it is God who works in you both to will and to act in order to fulfil His good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13)

4. You now Have God’s Nature and you Belong to Him

You are no longer a sinner by nature—you are a new creation. God’s Spirit lives in you, and you belong to Him. As the Bible says:

“…. partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.” (2 Peter 1:3–4)

You now have the power from The Holy Spirit to live according to your new nature and doing God’s will.

5. You Can Now Reckon Yourself Dead to Sin and Alive to Jesus and What is True Repentance

You are dead to sin and alive to God. You no longer have to obey sin—Christ lives in you.
As Scripture says:

“In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 6:11)

You now have the power from The Holy Spirit to live according to your new nature and doing God’s will.

6. Now Living For Jesus You Now Have The Desire And Want to Live For Him

Salvation is not just about going to heaven—it’s about living for Jesus now, with purpose and love.

I now live for Jesus and what is important for Him

a, I love Him – I spend time with God, Jesus and Holy Spirit

b, I worship Him

c, I love the other followers of Jesus – called brothers and sisters

d, I love to fellowship with other Christians – church

e, I love the lost and tell them about Jesus

As the Bible says:

“And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.” (2 Corinthians 5:15)

Reflection

1. You where Separated from God and Under His Wrath — But Now you are Saved

You were lost and under God’s judgment, but because you believe and cried out to Jesus, He rescued you. You are saved, forgiven, and secure in Him.

“Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” (John 3:18)

“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

2. You were Rejected, But Now you are Accepted in Jesus

In Jesus, you are fully accepted, adopted, and dearly loved. You are no longer rejected—you are His.

“To the praise of His glorious grace, with which He has blessed us in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:6)

“For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by Him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’” (Romans 8:15)

Summary

You are now a child of God, forgiven, accepted, belong and empowered by The Holy Spirit to live for Jesus. When you received Jesus into your heart, your life gains a new purpose — to live for Him with love and dedication. The Holy Spirit lives in you, helping you to walk in freedom and obedience. You are no longer who you were—your identity, heart, (nature) and purpose are now in Christ.

“And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
(2 Corinthians 5:15)

This means when you receive Jesus into your heart, your life gains a new purpose — to live for Him with love and dedication.
